HOW DOES IT WORK?

We start with a Zoom to talk about the trip, talk about your interests, your rhythm, your preferences.

Based on our conversation, I prepare a first travel proposal. The value of this proposal is 400 €. This proposal consists of a general description of the itinerary: route options, a day to day general description and cadency of your trip.

The option of a detailed proposal, with suggestions, options -and names- of hotels, transport solutions, a detailed day to day description with recommendations on where to go (outside the turistic box), what to see, where to eat, interesting spots, a variety of solutions and key data to know before travelling has a value of 2400 € (if you have already taken the first travel proposal, the 400 € will be discounted). This detailed proposal includes, in addition, a series of Zoom sessions where I prepare the travellers: We will do historical and practical reviews; a series of exchanges to contextualize and understand the historical and cultural narrative of the trip, so you venture into your travels en forme.

The value of the first proposal and of the detailed proposal of the trip are per proposal (not per person!).

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Recommendations on hotels, kasbahs, riads, ryokans or havelis chosen for their history, authenticity, design or location Suggestions on walks through medinas, souks, bazaars, markets, neighbourhoods and villages away from touristic circuits and mass tourism. Although the itineraries I design always cover the highlights -the must see- of each place, the essence of my advice focuses on stepping away from the beaten track to get in touch with the genuine and the authentic. In addition I share data from my own personal travel diary about the latest in local design, where to buy the new and where to find the old, the lesser known markets, showrooms, boutiques, bookstores, art galleries, antiques, only by appointment addresses, precious data that I have collected throughout years of experience and my ongoing research.

“I was in that place. I walked its streets, fed with its food, engaged with its people, I immersed myself in its geography.”

I propose trips away from traditional tourism in order to delve, slowly, into the heart of the world, that which far from the crowded and rushed tours, beats in the heart of a medina, in a Buddhist village in the Himalayas or in a rural trail in Japan.
